The first race is due off at 12h35.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Captain Tatters from the Justin Snaith stable is the best bet on the day and is the possible Pick 6 banker.

He has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. He was far from disgraced when finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Golden Horse Sprint last time.

It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He is the best weighted runner in this contest and should take a power of beating.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Louis Goosen saddles Oden in Race 3. He showed some signs of a form return over 1200m on the turf last time.

It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since.

The 6yo gelding takes a big drop in class and on best form shown, he can cause the upset.
