Go With Lollapalooza At Fairview

The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h10

The new week starts off with an eight-race programme on the polytrack at Fairview Racecourse.

After saddling a treble on Friday, Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Gavin Smith will be looking to continue where he left off.

The first race is due off at 12h25.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Lollapalooza from the Alan Greeff stable takes her place in Race 5 and she is the possible Pick 6 banker.

She ran a good race when finishing second in her last start over 1300m on this course. She raced from a handy position and stayed on nicely at the finish.

The daughter of Soft Falling Rain takes a big drop in class today and from pole position she should take a power of beating.

Hot Marmalade represents each way value in the lucky last race. She is much better than her last start with the blinkers fitted, over a distance short of her best.

She shed her maiden tag over this course and distance in her penultimate start.

The blinkers have been removed this afternoon and it is encouraging that Warren Kennedy keeps faith in the ride. The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade may be the one to side with.

The false rail is set at 3m out at the 421m mark.

Jockey Keanan Steyn is not riding – due to flight complications.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h25
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h00
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h35
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h10
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h45

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
