Hollywoodbets-sponsored Gavin Smith sends out Imperious Duke in Race 6. He was impressive when winning his last start over 2200m on this course.

He set the pace that day and kept finding all the way to the line.

The son of Duke Of Marmalade takes a drop in class today and will be hard to peg back at the business end.

Forest Field from the Duncan McKenzie stable takes her place in Race 7 on the card. She is much better than her last start suggests as she was reported to be coughing.

She has won twice, finished second four times and third once from 12 starts over this distance.

The daughter of Marchfield takes a drop in class this afternoon and should be cherry-ripe. She may be the one to cause the upset.

The false rail is 3m out at the 421m mark.
