The new week starts off with an eight-race programme in the Windy City at Fairview on the polytrack.

Duncan McKenzie saddles Aqua Delta in race 6 today.

Jimmy The Rich writes Aqua Delta from the Duncan McKenzie stable could be the one to side with in Race 6. He was not disgraced when finishing third in the Non-Black type Fairview Merchants last time.

He had to be steadied at the 400m mark that day and cast a shoe in running.

He has won once, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this course and distance. He takes a drop in class today and should take a power of beating.

In-form Jacques Strydom sends out Precious Stone in Race 4. He had excuses in his last start over 1300m on this course.

He didn’t get off to the best of starts and also cut his tongue. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since.

The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests he will enjoy the rise to the mile. It jumping on terms, he can notch up his second career victory.

Precious Stone will run with front alumites on and remain unshod behind.

Julius Mphanya is not riding today due to being medically indisposed.
