The week starts off with an eight-race programme at Fairview on the polytrack.

The first race is due off at 12h25 and the lucky last is scheduled for 16h30.

Emerald Floe from the visiting Johan Janse van Vuuren stable is the best bet on the card.

She was her own worst enemy last time when taking on the males as she overraced in the early stages.

Her penultimate run when finishing third over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course was promising.

The daughter of Oratorio makes her way to PE and gets the ear muffs fitted for the first time. If suited to the polytrack, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

She showed massive improvement in her last start over this course and distance.

She was squeezed at the start, but the manner in which she finished off her race that day caught the eye.

The daughter of Coup De grace looks progressive and with a bit of luck in the early stages, she can cause the upset.

The false rail is 3m out at the 421m mark.
