Misleading

Some weeks ago the Sunday Times Business Times headlined on their front page an investigation into horse racing concerning the Competition Commission and a disgruntled lady in the eastern cape.A week later somewhere near the back page they wrote the the individual was an alleged defaulter and subject to some serious litigation and seemed to have no standing or experience in the industry. Pity that the apparent back track did not enjoy the same prominence.

I read in your recent addition a long diatribe by some hack who wasted a lot of space proposing that Gold Circle should consider selling Scottsville race course and keep Clairwood and Greyville.

Before rushing into print perhaps he should have done a little home work; both Scottsville and Greyville are leased properties so they cannot be sold as they don’t belong to Gold Cirlce!
