Sunday’s previously postponed Turffontein racemeeting takes place today with the first due off at 11h35 and the lucky last set for 16h55.

Dupont Emerald from the Mike and Mathew de Kock stable takes her place in Race 4. She has produced three good runs to date.

She showed good speed over this course and distance last time before getting caught late by Paul Revere.

The daughter of Querari is a progressive type and Muzi Yeni retains the ride. She is back against her own sex and is the horse to beat.

Trainer Tyrone Zackey sends out Vesuvio in Race 9.

He should have won his last start over 2000m on this course. He has won over this distance previously.

The son of Erupt jumps from a good draw of four and with Ryan Munger retaining the ride, he can notch up his eighth-career victory.
