Mia Harper Looks A Good Thing

The first is off at 12h00

Hollywoodbets Kenilworth plays host to a nine-race programme this afternoon.

The first is due off at 12h00 with the lucky last set for 16h35.

Trainer Dean Kannemeyer sends out Mia’s Harper in Race 1 and she should give punters a good start to the day. She produced a promising debut effort over this course and distance, six weeks ago.

She lost 2 lengths leaving the start, but the manner in which she ran on at the business end was eye-catching. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since.

The daughter of Danon Platina would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating.

Fusillade from the Andre Nel stable takes her place in Race 8. She challenged strongly in her last start over 1100m on this course but found one too good in the form of Miss Marguerite.

She would have come on from the run and should strip a much fitter horse. The 5yo mare meets a similar line-up this afternoon and she can go one better.
