In what will amount to an emotional end of an era for SA racing, the Alexander Racing Team are in the process of relocating to Murray Bridge in South Australia and a dispersal sale of horses and equipment will be held at their yard at Turffontein at 12h00 on Wednesday 7 April.
Gary Alexander has trained over 1500 winners over the past 30 years and together with his younger brother Dean formed one of our most formidable stables.
Gabriel Soma of MGAS Bloodstock confirmed to the Sporting Post that the Alexander Racing Dispersal Sale will be a live platform at the operation’s Turffontein yard and that horses and equipment will be sold.
“Of course the equipment will be sold in batches and they are already grouped together,” confirmed Gabriel who said the buyer registration form is carried on page 2 of the catalogue.
The catalogue is available here
“The buyer’s card application and any enquiries can be emailed to me on [email protected] or WhatsApp it to 076 724 0585, or to my brother Dylan on 078 1777 073,” he added.
