After days of searing heat and plenty of big-race build-up events that included the lively and well-patronised World Sports Betting and Hollywoodbet WSB panel discussions, Saturday is set to dawn considerably cooler in the Mother City.

A south easterly wind, gusting up to 76km/h is anticipated. This could 0amount to a headwind for the WSB Met field as they take the 600m stampede for the winning post on the Hollywoodbets Kenilworth home-straight.
