In a media release published on Wednesday 23 April 2025, 10bet South Africa has announced the appointment of trainer Adam Marcus as the brand’s official Horse Racing Ambassador.

Marcus, widely respected for his achievements and pedigree within the South African racing community, brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the role. His collaboration with 10bet reflects a shared dedication to excellence in the sport and a mutual ambition to bring fans closer to the thrill of the track.

With deep roots in the sport, Marcus began his journey in his father’s racing yard, gaining hands-on experience in roles ranging from groom and feed room assistant to work rider. These formative years laid the groundwork for his successful training career and shaped his deep understanding of the industry.

The announcement coincides with the official launch of 10bet South Africa’s dedicated horse racing platform — a comprehensive betting experience designed for both seasoned punters and newcomers. The platform offers access to a wide range of local and international events, including marquee races like the Durban July and the Cheltenham Festival.

“Horse racing has always held a special place in South African sport, and we are proud to be strengthening our presence in this space through the expertise of Adam Marcus. Our goal is to deliver a world-class betting experience that is both accessible and exciting for fans nationwide,” said Michelle Colborne, 10bet SA Marketing VP.
