Marco Brings The Fire In Today’s Fairview Feature

First due off @ 12h30

Today’s local racemeeting takes place on the Fairview polytrack. The main event on the day’s eight-race programme is the Non-Black Type Fairview 1900.

Don’t forget to get your selections in for the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge at least 5 minutes before the first is off. The first race is due off at 12h30 with the lucky last scheduled for 16h35.

Firealley (Marco van Rensburg) took home the Founders Trophy at Fairview earlier this month. East Coast (Richard Fourie) took second place (Pic – Pauline Herman)

Trainer Jacques Strydom sends out Firealley in the Non-Black Type Fairview 1900. He won a game race in the Non-Black Type Founders Trophy last time.

The 7yo gelding will love the rise to 1900m. He is in a good space and jumps from pole position once again.

Marco van Rensburg retains the ride and against similar company, he can bring up the hat-trick.

Treasure Hunt from the Juan Nel stable takes her place in Race 3. She ran a fair race when fourth against male company over 1400m on this course last time.

She finished 0.5 lengths behind Kabon Kapi in her penultimate outing.

She is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. She jumps from pole position and can notch up her sixth-career victory.
