Vital Points

Mailbag

While sympathising with the points raised by Robert Bloomberg in his dispute with the Alexanders, from a punter’s point of view (who ever listens to punters!) I believe that both he, the NHA and Alexander miss a most vital point: What if Joey Ramsden had one of his own runners engaged in the Majorca Stakes. Would the punters have been given the Pick Six coupling?

I bet not because in the race card Alexander is shown as the trainer despite the fact he could have had little or no influence on the conditioning of the filly for several months.
