Magner Eyes A Visionofpeace

First due off @ 12h25

An eight-race programme has been carded for the Turffontein Inside course this afternoon with the first due off at 12h25 and the lucky last set for 16h40.

Visionofpeace from the Roy Magner stable takes her place in Race 1 and she should give punters a good start to the day.

She was given a peach of a ride when winning on debut over 1160m on the Standside course.

She found betting support that day which suggests that she was showing good work at home.

It must be noted that the horse that finished third has come out and won since. The daughter of Visionaire looks to be above average and she can remain unbeaten.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Stuart Pettigrew sends out Fast Duty in Race 5. He was running on when third over 1500m on this course last time.

The drop to 1200m should not pose an issue as he has won once, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this course and distance.

The son of Global View is having his peak run today and with a bit of luck in running, he may be the one to beat.

Jockey Brian Nwayo will not be riding today.

Rested runner comments:

Race 4: No 10 Plum Blossom had a 198-day break due to recovering from a lameness.

Race 6: No 8 Ryan’s Dream had a 189-day break due to being given time off to mature.
