She’s All Class!

James McDonald and Chris Waller team up

She’s All Class lived up to her name bursting into contention for next months A$2 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic with a stunning win in the A$200,000 Magic Millions Wyong 2YO Classic at Wyong on Wednesday

Prepared by master horseman Chris Waller, She’s All Class romped home by almost five lengths under a confident James McDonald ride.

Placed at her only previous start in the Victory Vein at Randwick, She’s All Class showed a blistering turn of foot in the straight that saw bookmakers racing to slash her price for the Gold Coast.

In their latest market TAB slashed her price to A$4.50 and she now shares favourite with stablemate, Breeders Plate winner Shaquero.

“We always knew she’s got good ability,” winning rider James McDonald said. “She works very well at home.”

“Chris and the team have always had a good opinion of her and they wanted her to come here today and see what she could do.”

“She wasn’t that comfortable on the track but she got the job done.”

“She’s got a good turn of foot and obviously six furlongs is going to be right up her alley. She’s done a marvellous job.”

Connections of She’s All Class will be hoping she can emulate past Wyong Classic winners including Karuta Queen, Unencumbered and Capitalist who a month later won the rich Gold Coast Classic.

Other former graduates of the race include superstar sires Snitzel and Not a Single Doubt and this year’s Golden Slipper winner Farnan.

In winning this afternoon She’s All Class became the newest stakes winner for Yarraman Park Stud based sire I Am Invincible – a great result for the A$200,000 buy for part owner Brae Sokolski from the Yarraman draft last January.

The filly is the sixth winner from six to race for the unraced Viscount mare Shirra Nui – a half sister to New Zealand stakes winner Khemosabi.
