Louis Is On A Golden Link

First due off @ 12h35

An eight-race programme has been carded for Fairview on the polytrack this afternoon.

Don’t forget to take the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge with the first due off at 12h35.

Jockey Louis Mxothwa waves to the crowd

Trainer Sharon Kotzen sends out Golden Link in Race 2. He ran a good race when second in his last start over 1200m on this course.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Gold Standard should love the rise to 1400m.

He gets the tongue-tie fitted for the first time which may do the trick.

Sporting Post-sponsored Jockey Louis Mxothwa takes the ride. Golden Link meets the right field today and can go one better.

Slainte Mhath from the Sharon Kotzen stable takes his place in Race 4.

He was doing his best work late when third in his last start over 2000m on this course.

It must be noted that Woman’s World has come out and finished second in the Listed TAB East Cape Derby since.

The son of Duke Of Marmalade takes on weaker opposition this afternoon and if repeating that effort, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
