The L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate Racing Festival is South Africa’s most prestigious horseracing event and to celebrate the occasion you are invited to write a factual related editorial and put yourself in line to win a trip for two to Glorious Goodwood.

Anyone can enter the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate Writer’s Contest.
Content of between 1000 to 5000 words must relate to the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate Racing Festival, to be held in January 2018 at Kenilworth racecourse.
The winner will enjoy a trip for two, including flights and accomodation to Glorious Goodwood in 2018, or to the 2019 L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate Festival.
Entries should be sent to [email protected] by not later than 12 January 2018.
All entries will be acknowledged. And of course, the judges’ decision is final.
