Lockdown – Ban On Owners Lifted

Registering in advance is essential

The ban on racehorse owners entering the parade ring has been lifted nationally with immediate effect and all owners of a winner may now participate in the lead-in instead of only one.

This is provided owners continue to adhere to other COVID-19 restrictions, notably registering in advance via phone or email and observing social distancing protocols at all times.

Racing remains behind closed doors with no public attendance allowed and only racehorse owners and their guests are permitted to attend under the strict protocols in place.
