Fundraiser to assist a good racing man

The ancient Greek tragedian Sophocles said, “Kindness begets kindness evermore.”

Today, we commonly refer to this philosophy as “paying it forward”.

It is a simple act based on the principle that when one is treated kindly, they will most likely reciprocate the act in a similar way.

The Direct Line’s Nico Kritsiotis is doing just that. He’s asking us all to join the cause of helping a good racing man by joining in paying it forward through the Lyall Cooper fundraiser.

Horseracing presenter and tipster, Lyall Cooper is a well-known name within the horseracing fraternity.

Following his visits to numerous doctors and specialists since June, Lyall was diagnosed with the onset of diabetes and urothelial carcinoma (bladder cancer).

In an effort to assist Lyall and his family with the increasing cost of treatment, a fundraising effort has been launched.
