The second running of the R2 million Lanzerac Ready To Run Stakes, presented by Cape Thoroughbred Sales, takes place at Kenilworth Racecourse on Saturday 22 November, on an afternoon that sees the running of the Gr2 Green Point Stakes and the Gr2 Selangor Cup.

The latest race log is shown below.

The inaugural running of the richly endowed sales race was won the Brett Crawford’s top-class Captain Al colt, Captain America, who down the sensational Joey Ramsden-trained Red Ray.

Excitement is already building for the next Ready To Run Sale which is being held at Durbanville on 4 & 5 October. (The gallops are on 2 October).

Important dates for the race, which is restricted to eligible graduates of the 2013 Ready To Run Sale held on 22 November 2013, are as follows;

Entries 11:00 Wednesday, 5 November

Weights Wednesday, 5 November

Supp Entries 11:00 Wednesday, 12 November

Declarations 11:00 Thursday, 13 November

Final Field and Barrier Draw Announcement : TBA

The Final Field will be determined by a panel appointed by the Racing Operator.
