Kotzen’s Royal Victory Is The Class

First due off @ 12h05

A nine-race programme has been carded for Hollywoodbets Scottsville this afternoon with the first due off at 12h05.

Trainer Nathan Kotzen sends out Royal Victory in Race 2, the Umthombothi Stakes,  and he looks to be the best bet on the programme.

He received a bump leaving the start last time but finished off his race strongly.

The son of Pathfork will love the step up to 1950m. He is the class horse in this small field and winless in ten months, he should return to winning ways.

Imposing from the Michael Roberts stable takes his place in Race 5.

He finished 1.15 lengths behind Tyrconnell last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

He has won once, finished second once and third once from five starts over this course and distance.

If keeping on a straight line, he can return to winning ways.
