Kotzen’s Agent Can Bring Curtain Down Today

First is off at 12h15

The new week starts off with an eight-race programme on the polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and the first is due off at 12h15.

Dual Agent from the Glen Kotzen stable may be the horse to close off the meeting. She produced a promising debut effort over 1200m on the turf.

She was awkwardly placed at the 1100m mark, but the manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. The daughter of Twice Over would have come on from the run and will love the rise to the mile. If suited to the polytrack, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

Trainer Robbie Hill saddles Duchess Of Gold in Race 5. She should have finished much closer to the winner in her last start over this course and distance. She stumbled leaving the starting stalls and her pilot lost his stirrup irons momentarily.

The manner in which she finished off her race up the straight was encouraging. The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade takes a slight drop in class and if getting away to a clean start, she may be the one to cause the upset.

Jockey Gareth Wright is not riding today.
