Klavervlei Spelling Farm is situated 6000ft above sea level near Beaufort West.
• Yearlings are raised rough and tough to stand up to the rigours of training.
• Yearlings are raised in big paddocks where the ground is very hard.
  This insures the yearlings get good concussion on  their legs when playing and running around.
• Very cold Winters 
• Calcium rich water - good for bone.
• Farm often used for quarantine purposes. 
• Horses stabled if required.
