KZN-based rider Rachel Venniker rode a scintillating 150-1 double to own the early Classic Day feature action at Turffontein when she followed up her Ruffian Stakes win with a knockout 66-1 victory aboard Robyn Klaasen first-timer Charming Cheetah in the R200 000 TAB Listed Storm Bird Stakes.

With debut winner Read All About It and twice-placed maiden Bingo expected to show the benefit of their experience, it was first timers that dominated with Charming Cheetah (66-1) scything showing maturity and through late to gain a 0,30 length win over Tarry stablemates One Fine Winter (33-1) and Reigning Alice (100-1) .
The winner clocked 58,39 secs, marginally slower than the filly Glastonbury carrying 3kgs more in the first race.
Only 12560 combinations survived the Bipot blow with a provisional minimum dividend of R19-90 after the first leg.

A R500 000 KZN Yearling Sale graduate, Charming Cheetah was bred by Clifton Stud and is a son of the ill-fated New Predator (New Approach) out of the twice winning Jupot mare Enchanting.
A debut winner, Charming Cheetah took his stakes bank to R125 000.
