Rainbow Bridge Scratched

The Bipot starts in the first at 13h05

Another electrifying card kicks off in the Mother City at Kenilworth today with a host of top quality racing on offer.

Sadly, a virus at the Glen Kotzen stable has led to a host of scratchings.

The first race on the card starts at 13h05 and the lucky last will close off proceedings at 17h15.

The highly anticipated return of Rainbow Bridge has been delayed as he was withdrawn at 07h21 this morning by trainer Eric Sands.

The Justin Snaith camp send out Rain In Newmarket who participates in Race 8.

This colossal daughter of Kingsbarns impressively trounced her rivals over this course and distance last time.

She has found plenty support in her last two outings which suggests she is showing good potential back at home.

She jumps from an inside barrier position and it is encouraging that Richard Fourie has kept faith in the ride.

The winter course false rail is set at 1m out from the 1700m mark with a 3m spur at the 470m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 13h05
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h40
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h20
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h55
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h25

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
