Plenty of rain!
Following 77mm of rain in the last 24 hours, the Kenilworth track is waterlogged in several areas and there is more rain forecast.
A jockey, trainer and the Chief Stipendiary Steward met with the track manager today to inspect the track and it was agreed that the race meeting of Kenilworth 19 July 2014 be abandoned.
The Final Fling Stakes (Grade 3) will be moved as carded to the race meeting of 26 July 2014.
