Jono Snaith – ‘Our Horse Will Go Close’

Straight from the horse's mouth

CANDICE BASS ROBINSON

Race 1 – BERNIE (1): Grant Van Niekerk feels this horse will need it first time out but he is not a bad horse and shows some pace but is by no means fully wound up.

NATHAN KOTZEN FOR MIKE DE KOCK

Race 1 – HOT CURRY (2): He is alright and not doing too badly but is looking for further. In saying that, he is fit and well enough to be in the money today.

 PIET STEYN

 Race 1 – METORITE (3): Scratched.

 JONO SNAITH FOR JUSTIN SNAITH

Race 1 – ORATIO (4): A nice filly – could run into the money.

Race 1 – SIR FRENCHIE (5): Shows good early toe and will go close.

Race 1 – VARSIDE (7): Has a bit of ability and is a must for the quartet.

DAN KATZ FOR DARRYL HODGSON

Race 1 – STATE CAPTURE (6): Is quick, forward and progressive – shows pace. I do not know what the opposition is like but I am just hoping he runs well.
