Avernian Goddess from the Dean Kannemeyer stable should give punters a good start to the day.
She was a beaten odds-on favourite in her last start over this distance on the turf. She took the lead at the 250m mark that day but was caught in the shadow of the post by Ubukhwebezana.
Her debut effort when second over 1400m was eye-catching.
The daughter of Vercingetorix is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw and she will be mowing down the frontrunners.
