Lucrative from the Dean Kannemeyer stable takes her place in Race 6.

She showed good speed when winning her last start over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.

The daughter of Vercingetorix is bred to love the rise to 1400m. She is the stable elect with Craig Zackey in the saddle.

If suited to the polytrack, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

Trainer Andre Nel sends out Querari’s Dream in the lucky last and he may be the horse to close off the meeting.

He lacked extra late when seventh over 2000m on the turf last time. He won his only attempt over this distance.

The 5yo gelding may be a horse that will love racing on the polytrack surface. If putting his best foot forward, he may be the one to beat.

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
