New SA-sire Just As Well got a smart update to his pedigree, when half brother Utley won a G2 on Preakness-day.
Utley is the fourth Graded stakes winner produced by Nureyev-mare No Matter What, all by different sires, following Just As Well (G1, by AP Indy), Rainbow View (Gr1, by Dynaformer) and Winter View (G3, by Thunder Gulch). This is the female line also of G1 winner and sire Raven’s Pass, and of sire E-Dubai.
Just As Well’s first SA-crop are yearlings, of which two went through the ring so far, both colts, fetching R200k and R110k.
The son of AP Indy stands at Spring Valley Stud in KZN at a fee of R10k.
