July Team Green Light – Don’t Stop Believing!

What would have been the scenes if the favourite wins

Racehorse ownership is one of those abstract passions that nobody understands. It doesn’t make much financial sense most of the time – but one decent horse is all it takes.

Saturday’s Vodacom Durban July favourite Got The Greenlight cost just R110 000 at the Cape Yearling Sale of his year.

He has earned close on R3,2 million for owners Dylan Chinsammy, Joey Soma and Hassen Adams and still has his crown jewels intact – so a potential big-banking career at stud beckons for the already five-time Gr1 winner.

Watch this clip of Got The Greenlight’s HF Oppenheimer Gr1 Horse Chestnut Stakes win to experience the heart of the excitement of racehorse ownership – and what could have been the scenes at around 15h02 on Saturday at Hollywoodbets Greyville.
