July Runner-Up Returns To Action Today

First off at 13h25

The in-form Justin Snaith-Richard Fourie combination can have another great day at their home track this afternoon.

Made To Conquer beats Strathdon in the Lonsdale

While Kasimir is strongly fancied by the champion team to win the Gr2 Merchants, one of their best bets on the Kenilworth card could be the Vodacom Durban July runner-up Made To Conquer, who lines up in the Bipot opener – race 2, which is off at 14h00.

The scratching of Let It Rain has seen the field for the 2000m Pinnacle Stakes reduced to just five runners – and, like he did in the July, Made To Conquer may be forced to be right up there.

A planned Summer Cup raid was aborted and he stays in the Cape. He meets his stablemate Strathdon, whom he beat 0,15 lengths in the Lonsdale Stirrup Cup last season, on 3kgs worse terms on that 2400m clash.

Strathdon finished marginally ahead of Made To Conquer in receipt of 2kgs in the Gold Cup.

The first race is off at 13h25.
