July fever

Is the Antepost betting a scam?

I am an avid sport follower and will occassionally dabble my luck at the casinos, however as a layman (there are many of us out there), I think that it is necessary to highlight the problem I have experienced.I took a quadruple bet where the first 3 selections won. Alas the 4th selection was for a July “runner”Dance with the devil which has now been “eliminated / scratched”.I was not aware that if the July selection is “eliminated / scratched” that the entire bet becomes a losing ticket because generally if 1 selection is “removed”then the odds are reduced and the ticket is paid out accordingly.I have taken up the matter (ticket 813407) with Van der Vyver bookmakers and they say that even the Bookmakers control committee will not hear the case unless I pay R500. The ticket outlay was a mere R70 to win R5700 and the reduced odds are about R900.I have not received a response from Dave van der Vyver and think that only “advising” the public about ante post betting will help.

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
