July In Jozi

Pick 6 carryover expected to reach R15 million

In what is fast becoming an annual tradition, World Sports Betting will once again sponsor July Day In Jozi at Turffontein Racecourse on Saturday 25 July.

World Sports Betting have sponsored this meeting for the last four years, and the event makes the Turffontein facilities available for those who are not able to travel to Durban to witness the running of South Africa’s premier horse race, the Vodacom Durban July over 2200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville.

This year is a little different in that conditions have made it a lot tougher for owners to travel out of the province, but for owners, box holders and their guests the opportunity is available to enjoy the day at Turffontein where a local meeting will run concurrently with the Vodacom Durban July meeting in KwaZulu-Natal.

There will be a number of carryovers to the KZN meeting, in particular a Pick 6 carryover of R2 million with a pool estimated to reach R15 million, and R1 million to the Quartet on the Durban July, with an estimated pool of R12 million.

Owners who wish to book a table for July Day in Jozi should call Patience on 011 681 1508 to book in the Furious Room and Angie on 011 683 3220 for RA members.
