JP Looks To Get Impressed In The Sixth

First due off @ 12h15

Hollywoodbets Kenilworth plays host to a nine-race programme this afternoon.

Don’t forget to take the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge with the first due off at 12h15.

Get Impressed from the Justin Snaith stable takes his place in Race 6. He showed signs of needing his comeback run over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville.

He has won once, finished second once and third once from four starts over this distance.

The son of Vercingetorix will strip much fitter and if jumping on terms, he can notch up his fifth-career victory. Jockey JP van der Merwe takes the ride.

Trainer Andries Steyn sends out Barney Mcgrew in Race 5. He tried hard when third over this course and distance last time.

He finished 1.25 lengths behind Bluff On Bluff in his penultimate run. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

Ashton Arries is booked to ride, and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
