Jolly Good Day Ahead For Fourie

The first is due off at 12h40

Racing takes place on the Fairview polytrack this afternoon and eight races are carded. The first is due off at 12h40.

Winning Form-sponsored jockey Richard Fourie has a full book of rides with a few decent winning chances and he may be the man worth following.

Trainer Alan Greeff sends out Fairy Knight in Race 4 and he is the best bet on the card. He challenged strongly in his last start but found one too good in the form of Questor.

The son of Global View should love the rise to the mile. He is above average and with luck in running, he should take a power of beating.

Sirnihaallongsword from the Lunga Gila stable may be the horse to close off the meeting.

He finished 1.75 lengths behind Cool Runnings last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating them in the run down to the line.

He won his only attempt over this course and distance and is unbeaten from two starts under Jabu Jacobs. From pole position, he can return to winning ways.

Jockey Devin Ashby will not be riding today.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h40
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h15
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h50
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h25
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 15h00
