Jade’s Caberneigh Can Return To Winning Ways Today

First due off @ 12h40

Today’s local racemeeting takes place at Fairview on the polytrack with the first on the eight-race programme due off at 12h40.

Don’t forget to take the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge on this meeting.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Gavin Smith sends out Jade’s Caberneigh in Race 4. She is better than her last start over 1200m on this course.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She has won three times and finished third once from six starts over this course and distance.

It is encouraging that Craig Zackey steps back into the saddle and she can return to winning ways.

Ono No Komachi from the Alan Greeff stable takes her place in Race 2. She has produced two good runs since relocating to the Eastern Cape.

The way she finishes off her races suggests that she will love the rise to 2200m.

She gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep her mind on the task at hand. If taking to the polytrack, she should take a power of beating.
