Jackpot Carryover Appeals At October Opener Today

Bipot starts in the first race at 12h45

The first racemeeting of October takes place on the turf track at Hollywoodbets Greyville today and eight races are carded.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge and the first is due off at 12h45.

Trainer Mike Miller sends out Rulership in Race 6. He should have won his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville as a loose horse caused interference in the closing stages. He has won three times, finished second twice and third twice from nine starts over this distance.

He jumps from a good draw of three and with luck in running, he should notch up his fourth career victory.

El Dante from the MJ Odendaal stable takes his place in Race 4.

He was reported to be not striding out in his comeback run over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter.

The son of Wylie Hall won his only attempt over this distance. Bernard Fayd’Herbe is booked to ride and from pole position, he can return to winning ways.
