It’s World Sports Betting Cape Town Met Day!

First due off @ 11h55

The World Sports Betting Gr1 Cape Town Met racemeeting is here under beautiful summer skies and the much anticipated eleven-race programme has been carded for Hollywoodbets Kenilworth this afternoon with the first due off at 11h55.

There is a R2 million Pick 6 carryover with a likely pool of R10 million. Don’t forget about the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge.

R200 000 is up for grabs for the Top 50 on the leaderboard and R200 000 must be won for the punter/s who select the most winners on the day.

A reminder that punters could win big in the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge on the World Sports Betting Cape Town Met raceday on Saturday 27 January. All you have to do is make your Punters’ Challenge selections for Hollywoodbets Kenilworth and you could win an estimated *R3 Million Jackpot prize for selecting all the winners on the day. There’s also a massive *R200 000 for placing in the Top 50 on the leaderboard and a must-be-won prize of *R200 000 for the punter/s who selects the most winners on the day. *Amounts subject to Bet Slip bonus rules

The dramatic late withdrawal of Mucho Dinero at 08h16 today has reduced the big race field to 11.

See It Again from the Michael Roberts stable  is the best bet on the programme.

He moved up well in the L’Ormarins Gr1 King’s Plate last time but found one too good in the form of Charles Dickens. The son of Twice Over will love the step up to 2000m and he will be at peak fitness.

He does have a wide draw to overcome but gets the services of Piere Strydom who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle. He is the best horse in the race and should take a power of beating.

Trainer Justin Snaith sends out Call To Unite in the Schweppes Gr3 Politician Stakes. He followed up his maiden victory with a good second-place finish over this course and distance.

He should have won that day as he was held up for a run at the 300m mark.

The son of Vercingetorix is versatile, and he has class about him. With luck in running, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

Jockey Serino Moodley will not be riding today.
