It’s Bombs Away For Gavin Today

First due off @ 12h05

A nine-race programme has been carded at Hollywoodbets Scottsville with the first due off at 12h05.

A reminder that there is blasting and the relocation of Eskom lines between 09h00 and 11h00 on the N3 from Peacevale to Hammarsdale today.

Gorgeous Bomb from the Alyson Wright stable takes her place in Race 3.

She produced an eye-catching debut run over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville.

It must be noted that Abaddon has come out and won again since. She returns from a 10-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up.

Gavin Lerena retains the ride and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

Trainer Dennis Bosch sends out Poursomesugaronme in Race 8.

She is better than her last start suggests as she had no luck in the straight.

Her form prior to that outing was consistent. She is having her peak run today and will be cherry-ripe.

With a bit of luck in running, she may be the one to cause the upset.
