It’s Alone Time For Schwarz In The Lucky Last

First due off @ 12h30

An eight-race programme is carded for the Turffontein Inside course this afternoon with the first due off at 12h30 and the lucky last set for 16h35.

The free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge seems overdue for it’s next big winner – it could be you! Get in on the excitement and select all the winners on this meeting.

Trainer Kobus Roux sends out Alone Time in Race 8 and he may be the horse to close off the meeting.

He finished 0,25 lengths behind Commander Of All last time. He is a half kilo better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

The removal of the blinkers may do the trick.

Denis Schwarz steps back into the saddle and from his good draw of two, he may be hard to peg back with the field having scratched down to only eight runners.

Saigon Suzie from the Johan Janse van Vuuren stable takes her place in Race 7.

She followed up her maiden victory with a good fourth-place finish over this course and distance. She was slow into stride and stayed on at the finish.

The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight makes her handicap debut and she has plenty of scope.

This is a small field and she should not be too far off the leaders turning for home. With luck in running, she can win.
