It Could Be Speed Racer’s Day Today

First off at 12h20

Local racing is at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth this afternoon and nine races are carded. It’s a partly cloudy and cool day, with rain looking unlikely.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and the first is due off at 12h20.

Speed Racer from the Brett Crawford stable takes his place in Race 3 and he is the possible PA banker.

Brett Crawford – saddles Speed Racer in the third (Pic Cape Racing

He ran a fair race in his last start over this course and distance. Despite losing a length leaving the start, he showed pace before staying on to finish third. The son of Querari is progressive and in this line-up, he can shed his maiden tag.

Trainer Paul Reeves saddles Hear My Voice in Race 4 and she represents decent each way value. She finished 0.3 lengths behind Symphony Of Light last time.

She is 1kg better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

She has won once, finished second twice and third once from seven starts over this course and distance. Craig Zackey retains the ride and the pair may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.
