A R1 million Pick 6 carryover pool is expected to see the popular exotic rocketing to R5 million and beyond as we all try and boost our holiday season kittys!

Hluhluwe takes his place in the Gr1 Hollywoodbets Cape Guineas. He was given a peach of a ride when winning the Gr2 Cape Punters Cup last time.

He was settled at the rear of the field from the widest draw that day and ran on powerfully to get the better of Snow Pilot.

The son of Trippi looks to have plenty of class about him and he has a bright future. From his good draw of four, he should take a power of beating.

Trainer Vaughan Marshall sends out Silver Operator in Race 4.

He needed his comeback run over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville.

He is much better than his last two runs suggest. The 7yo gelding has won four times from five starts over this course and distance.

Bernard Fayd’Herbe steps into the saddle and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
