Racing Info Sources

Two new websites for reference and information

Targeted at attracting top-level investment in racing in Europe, Destination Europe has developed a dedicated website.

It lists all major European sales, upcoming major races and focuses on racing festivals of each country including Irish Champions weekend, the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe meeting, Baden Baden Grosse Woche and British Champions weekend.

The website also showcases the quality and success of European racing and breeding and assist those seeking to participate in Europe whether as owners or breeders.

Consisting of Irish Thoroughbred Marketing (ITM), the French Racing and Breeding Committee (FRBC), Great British Racing International (GBRI), the European Breeders Fund (EBF) and German Thoroughbred Marketing (GTM), Destination Europe was created earlier this year.

The European Breeders Fund has also created a new website where the EBF status of every horse is available by year of birth and sire.

A listing of all registered stallions in Europe and North America is also available and may be searched according to year of registration. Another section lists a full list of EBFsponsored races in Britain, Ireland, France, Germany for both flat and jumps racing. The site also features a section focused on how the EBF works, news updates and full contact details for the EBF in each of its six member countries.
