Organisations are contributing R4 million towards offsetting a R10-million shortfall in prize money for races at the five Phumelela racecourses in the 2010-11 racing season – but conditions apply.

NHRA: keeping the show on the road
The National Horseracing Authority advises that Denzil Pillay has been appointed as Racing Control Manager with effect from January 2011.
Denzil is currently Manager : Betting and Racing at the National Gambling Board, and has worked within the racing and betting environment for the past 13 years
