Five colts will head to Hong Kong from the 2021 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale after the Jockey Club spent A$2.53 million.
The most expensive was Lot 810, a colt by I Am Invincible from Solar Moon (Pivotal) for A$700,000 from the family of Gr1 Dubai World Cup winner Dubai Millennium.
A Zoustar colt, Lot 327, cost the HKJC A$550,000, and is out of stakes-placed winner Fortune of War (General Nediym), making the colt a half-brother to stakes-placed 2YO Spoils (Snitzel).
Lot 531, a colt by Exceed and Excel, cost A$470,000, and he is a half-brother to Gr2 Karrakatta Plate winner Valour Road (Frost Giant). Costing A$450,000 was Lot 542, a Pierro colt from Mischief Night, making him a three-quarter brother to Gr1 winner Pierata, and a half-brother to Gr3 winner Our Playboy.
Rounding out the quintet of purchases was Lot 456, a Written Tycoon colt from Lady Gracious who is an unraced half-sister to dual Gr1 winning sprinter Turffontein.
Lady Gracious has already proven herself as a broodmare, having left Listed winner Affable, stakes-placed winner Gracious Prospect, and six other winners.
