How To Play A Multiple – Properly!

Hollywoodbets player shows how it's done

When your luck is in, it’s in.

Harness Racing at Shepparton may not be every punter’s cup of tea, but it may well be time for a rethink from the ‘anti-chariots’ brigade after a Hollywoodbets punter struck gold at a twilight meeting on Sunday evening.

The player took an eight-race multiple at odds of R48 284, 27 for R1.

And they all duly arrived!

But the cherry on the top after a long sweat was the victory by the New Zealand-bred mare Alta Mach, who started at 14-1 and beat her seven rivals in the A$7000 1690m final race under rider-trainer, Shayne Eeles, who also seems to be an okay fisherman.

One that didn’t get away! Winning rider-trainer of Alta Mach – Shayne Eeles

Alta Mach’s recent form is a bit sketchy, and she last won back in April 2018 – in fact three times in that month. That could have been the pointer for the astute Hollywoodbets customer, as some horses often come good at certain times of the year.

The winning all-on:

Race 1 – (1) TECHYS ANGEL – 15/10

Race 2 – (7) CASTING SHADOW – 17/10

Race 3 – (6) RENWAY REACTOR – 2/1

Race 4 – (6) SHADOW CHEVRON – 5/10

Race 5 – (9) IDEAL STAR – 22/10

Race 6 – (8) COL DU GALIBIER – 5/2

Race 7 – (9) DO NOT SURRENDER – 8/10

Race 8 – (3) ALTA MACH – 14/1

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
