‘Bets Taken After Race Was Run’

TAB apologises to customers

All single-race TAB bets on Race 1 at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday have been refunded and the field will apply in multi-race bets like the BiPot.

This follows betting pools not closing timeously and numerous bets being taken after the race was run.

In a statement issued late on Sunday afternoon, Phumelela Gaming advise that an investigation has been opened to determine the reasons for the late closure of the pools.

Simultaneously TAB apologised to customers and state that they will investigate ways to ensure there is not a recurrence.
