12 Share Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge Prize

Saturday's big winners

Twelve lucky players shared the R500 000 must-be-won prize in the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Saturday.

The R1 million Hollywoodbets Gr1 Gold Challenge headlined a terrific SA Champions Season feature day, with all of the eight supporting events on the day branded in honour of Hollywoodbets partner title sponsors.

The 50th renewal of the Hollywoodbets Gr1 Gold Challenge was won by the 6yo Rainbow Bridge for the second consecutive year.

The free-to-enter Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge proved a daunting puzzle, with 12 players dead heating on 6 winners each to claim the must-be-won prize of R500 000.

They shared R41 667.

Player Soqrat of Isipingo jokingly told the Sporting Post that he felt ‘like Mike de Kock’ and was over the moon,

The unemployed racing fan had an even bigger surprise to hear he had won, as he had played the competition as he always does every KZN racemeeting.

“I had no idea about the must be won prize! What a lovely surprise – thank you Hollywoodbets. The cash will come in very handy,” he added happily.

Player Tk skorokoro  selected 5 winners on the afternoon for 155.29 points and headed the leaderboard to share in the daily R10 000 must-be-won prize.

The next KZN racemeeting is at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Wednesday 16 June.
