Hollywoodbets Greyville Pick 6 Set For R2 Million

The Pick 6 starts in the third at 13h40

Hollywoodbets Greyville plays host to an eight-race programme which has been switched to the polytrack this afternoon.

Racing starts at 12h30 and the meeting closes at 16h40.

A Pick 6 carryover of R 200 000 means the exotic can get to R2 million.

It starts in the third race at 13h40.

Mount Anderson – in good form (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Mount Anderson from the Dean Kannemeyer stable is the best bet on the programme. The blinkers did the trick last time and he won a lot easier than the official margin suggests.

The son of Vercingetorix should have no issues with the rise to the 1700m and from his good draw of two, he should notch up his fourth career victory.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Share Holder from the Paul Lafferty stable could be the value play of the day.

He has been taking on much stronger company in recent outings.

He didn’t have much luck in running last time as he raced wide around the turn. It must be noted that the form of that effort has been franked.

Lyle Hewitson steps into the saddle this afternoon and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

Gavin Lerena and Apprentices Jacobs and Pieterse are not riding.

Please note that the distance of the sixth race has changed to 2000m.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 12h30
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h05
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 13h40
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h15
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 14h50
